A Slight Risk of severe weather (level 2/5) remains across much of the area this afternoon & evening. A line of strong storms will move across the area with a threat of damaging wind gusts and a few tornadoes. Have multiple ways to get warnings!

Outside of storms, it will be quite windy with frequent gusts of 35-45 mph. A Wind Advisory is in effect for areas north of a line from Panama City to Tifton. Outside of the advisory area, gusts of 25-35 mph will be common. Secure loose objects, and use caution when driving.

Then comes the cold. Wind chills will plummet by tomorrow morning. Hazardous cold is expected over southeast AL, southwest GA, and the FL Panhandle early Monday morning with wind chills in the teens/20s. Even colder, more dangerous wind chills & hard freezes are expected by Monday night and Tuesday morning.
